Setbacks Happen, Time to Practice Resilience and Affirmations

Life is a rollercoaster, full of ups and downs. It’s also – still – Mercury Retrograde, and if you don’t fully understand that, you can read my earlier post Mercury Retrograde 101. This one feels like it’s been going on forever, but it started on August 4th and continues until August 27th, and sometimes the energy can linger a little :(.

Today I had a minor disappointment, purely my own fault, but disappointing nonetheless. And, in the spirit of turning lemons to lemonade, today’s post is about how to best deal with hiccups in the road of life in a positive and affirmative way. All I need to do now is take my own advice! When you feel let down, remember – you may be alone in the situation, but you aren’t alone when it comes to this feeling. Hopefully this post will be of assistance.

Sometimes in life; like today for me, the downs can overshadow everything else in the world. Disappointments can come out of nowhere, leaving us feeling deflated and disheartened. At these times, it’s important to remember that these temporary setbacks are just part of the journey.
