The Many Benefits of Selenite

I recently published a post; The Dark Knight of Protection about black obsidian because I am using this crystal in my newest Ritual Kit, the Protection Bundle. You can learn about that kit in my post: Creating a Protective Haven. This kit included Palo Santo, Salt, Selenite and Black Obsidian.

Today I am writing about the benefits and properties of Selenite to clarify why that’s included in our kit and why it’s one of my favorite crystals to carry and place with my cards and other crystals.

Selenite, a soft, white mineral, is often referred to as the “Master Healer” in the metaphysical community. Its name is derived from the Greek goddess of the moon, Selene, symbolizing its connection to lunar energy and spiritual growth.

Healing Properties of Selenite

While selenite is a powerful healing stone, it is essential to remember that it is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care. My favorite use of selenite is to cleanse my tarot cards. I always store my tarot decks with selenite and I have a wand that I place on my deck between readings to clear and transmute any residual energy from a reading.
