A How-to-Guide to Call Back Your Energy

I recently did a reading for someone and pulled the Judgment Card (#XX, or 20). In the context of the reading I was giving, I read #Judgement as reclaiming all the parts of their being that had been given away or were taken by others. This made me think about the importance of regularly calling back all your energy, grounding yourself to balance your energy, and of returning energy from others that you’ve picked up or that was sent to you. This is the inspiration for today’s post.

What Does It Mean to Call Back Your Energy?

Calling back your energy is a spiritual practice that involves reclaiming your personal power and vitality from those who may be draining it without your consent. It’s a way to protect your energy field, maintain your well-being, and ensure that you’re using your energy for your highest good.

Why is Calling Back Your Energy Important?

  • Protecting Your Energy: We meet so many different people and different energies in person and online everyday that it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and depleted. Calling back your energy helps to shield you from negative influences and ensures that you’re not giving away your power unnecessarily.
  • Reclaiming Your Power: When you call back your energy, you’re essentially taking back control of your life and your destiny. This can lead to increased self-confidence, improved decision-making, and a greater sense of purpose.
  • Healing and Growth: Reclaiming your energy allows you to focus on healing and personal growth. Grounding regularly helps you stay balanced and connected to the calming energy of the earth. Finally, by ‘returning to sender’ any negative energy, you create space for positive experiences and opportunities to flourish.

How to Call Back Your Energy

  1. Find a Quiet Space: Ideally, begin by finding a peaceful and undisturbed place where you can focus without interruptions. If that isn’t immediately available to you, you can do this process anywhere by focusing your mind and thoughts for the few minutes it takes.
  2. Ground Yourself: Connect with the earth by visualizing your roots extending deep into the ground, drawing up grounding energy.
  3. Visualize Your Energy Field: Imagine a protective bubble of light surrounding you.
  4. Reclaim Your Energy: Visualize any negative energy being drawn back to you, fully cleansed. See yourself and all the parts of yourself and your energy that are returning to you bathed in healing light.
  5. Affirmation: Repeat the following affirmation: “I call back my power and energy, cleansed in healing light, ready to be used only for my highest good.”
  6. Send Back Excess Energy: If you feel that there is excess energy that is not yours, visualize sending it back to its source with love and compassion with this affirmation: “I return to sender, with love and compassion, all power and energy that is not mine. And so it is.”

Additional Tips

  • Practice Regularly: Make calling back your energy a regular part of your spiritual self-care routine.
  • Pay Attention: After you perform this ritual, pay attention to the people who appear in your life and how their energy feels. Individuals who have been drawing off your positive energy will often return after you reclaim the energy they have been using.
  • Set Boundaries: Use discernment with who you allow back into your life. Learn to say “no” to people or situations that drain your energy.
  • Surround Yourself with Positive Influences: Spend time with people who uplift and inspire you. Spend time in nature to connect to the earth and stay grounded.
  • Take Care of Yourself: Prioritize activities that nourish your body, mind, and spirit.

By incorporating the practice of calling back your energy into your life, you can strengthen your personal power, improve your well-being, and create a more positive and fulfilling experience.
