A How to Guide on Selecting the Right Pendulum

Yesterday’s post; Pendulum Divination, was a Beginner’s Guide to the art of divination using a pendulum. Today I’m covering how to select your first pendulum.

A pendulum is a simple yet powerful tool used in dowsing and divination. It can help you connect with your intuition, receive guidance from higher powers, and explore the energetic world around you. But with so many different types of pendulums available, how do you choose the right one for you?

1. Intuition and Connection:

• Follow your heart: The most important factor in selecting a pendulum is your personal connection to it. Visit a metaphysical shop and hold different pendulums. See which one feels most comfortable and resonates with you on an energetic level.
• Trust your intuition: Your intuition will guide you towards the pendulum that is meant for you. Don’t overthink it or worry about making the wrong choice.

2. Material:

• Crystal pendulums: These are popular due to the unique properties of each crystal. For example, a clear quartz pendulum is often used for general-purpose dowsing, while an amethyst pendulum is associated with spiritual awareness and intuition.
