In the US? GO VOTE

That is – if you haven’t already!

Good morning! Today is the first Tuesday in November, and here in the states, it’s voting day. This year’s election includes the presidency and it’s tight race.

Voting Stickers from US Elections

I voted by mail last week and helped my 19 year old son to cast his first ballot. He has autism so a little help to navigate the candidates was needed, but voting is one of the most essential rights as an American and it is important that his voice is counted. I also took my father to early voting yesterday. He will be 91 in a few weeks and on the drive over he reminisced about his first voting experience back in the early 1950’s. He was in the army at the time, it was during the Korean conflict.

Today’s message is short, but important. If you are in the US, I hope that you exercise your right to vote. There are many places in the world that do not have free and fair elections. The race this year is not easy to predict. Let your voice be heard.
