Day 4 of My 5 Day Thankfulness Challenge
This is the fourth day of a five-day journey of gratitude where I’ve been sharing what I’m thankful for in my life, culminating tomorrow; Thanksgiving, in the US. So far, my posts have included: Gratitude for Abundance, Gratitude for Good Health and Gratitude for Diversity. Today’s post focuses on feeling Grateful for the Power of Community. I hope that you can relate this feeling to the different communities that you are supported by in your life.

Community. It’s a word that holds so much meaning. It’s the people who support us, challenge us, and celebrate with us. I’m incredibly grateful for the many communities that have enriched my life.
My Local Community I’m fortunate to live in a wonderful community. The friendly neighbors, the local shops, and the beautiful parks – they all contribute to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a place where I feel connected and supported.
My Church Community My church community is like a second family. We gather to worship, to learn, and to support one another. The bonds we’ve formed are truly special, and I’m grateful for the spiritual guidance and fellowship I receive there.
My Dance Community My dance sisters are my tribe. We share a passion for movement and expression. They’ve pushed me to be a better dancer, and they’ve always been there to lift me up when I needed it.
My Son’s School Community My son’s school community is a special place. The dedicated teachers and therapists provide invaluable support and guidance. The other parents, who understand the unique challenges of raising a child with autism, offer empathy and encouragement.
My Online Community I’ve also found a sense of belonging in online communities, particularly on Facebook. These groups have allowed me to connect with people who share my interests and passions. It’s amazing how supportive and inspiring these virtual communities can be.
I’m truly grateful for all the communities I can participate in and that support me and my family. I’m reminded that we’re all connected, and that our shared experiences can bring us together.
