Overcome Writer’s Block
Yesterday, I wrote about Overcoming Journaling Blocks, providing you with several tips to help overcome writers block, which I have been facing a lot lately. Today’s post is a follow up, with a list of 20 journal prompts that I hope will provide some inspiration to you when your pen stalls on the page.

- Describe a recent sensory experience in vivid detail. (Focus on sight, sound, smell, taste, touch.)
- Write about a small act of kindness you witnessed or performed today.
- What is something you’re grateful for that you often overlook?
- If your inner child could talk to you right now, what would they say?
- Explore a dream you had recently.
- What might it symbolize?
- Write about a time you felt truly authentic.
- What are three things you want to let go of?
- List 10 things that bring you joy, no matter how small.
- Describe a place where you feel completely at peace.
- Write a letter to your future self, outlining your hopes and dreams.
- What is a lesson you learned from a mistake?
- If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be and what would you ask?
- What is something you’re currently learning or want to learn?
- Write about a time you felt courageous.
- What are your current priorities, and why?
- Explore a fear you have and brainstorm ways to overcome it.What does “home” mean to you?
- Write about a moment when you felt truly connected to someone.
- If you could change one thing about your daily routine, what would it be and why?
- Write a stream-of-consciousness entry for five minutes, without stopping to edit.
