Vision Boards – Part Two

Yesterday’s post; A Visual Path to Your Dreams, was an introduction to Vision Boards providing a general overview of what a vision board is, their purpose and how to get the most from a vision board. Today’s post focuses on creating a vision board.

This is an outline for one of the simplest methods to creating a vision board. There are now digital options that can support the process too. The steps below can help you create and benefit from your vision board:

How to Create a Vision Board

1. Gather Your Materials:
   • A large board or poster board
   • Magazines, newspapers, or online images
   • Scissors, glue, and markers
2. Define Your Goals:
   • Clearly identify your goals in various areas of your life, such as career, relationships, health, and finances.
3. Collect Images:
   • Search for images that resonate with your goals. Look for pictures that inspire you and evoke positive emotions.
4. Arrange Your Images:
   • Experiment with different layouts and arrangements until you find a design that feels right to you.
5. Add Affirmations:
   • Write positive affirmations on small pieces of paper and add them to your board.
6. Display Your Vision Board:
   • Place your vision board in a prominent location where you can see it every day.
