A Poem for Valentine’s Day and Beyond

While it’s a little late, nearly nine p.m. in the Mid-western US, to wish you a happy Valentine’s Day, it is never too late for a poem and a wish that we all experience love today and everyday.

A Valentine's Wish

In realms where stardust whispers low,
And cosmic currents ebb and flow,
Where souls entwine in vibrant hues,
A Valentine's wish, from Me to You.

Not just for fleeting, Cupid's dart,
But year-round touches of the heart,
A gentle tug, a knowing gaze,
In love's vibration, through all our days.

Beyond the roses, red and bright,
Beyond the chocolates, dark and light,
A deeper yearning, soft and deep,
For kindred spirits, feelings to keep.

To find a love that understands,
The fragile dreams held in our hands,
A love that nurtures, strong and free,
And blossoms for eternity.

So let us celebrate this day,
In every heart, in every way,
The fabric of love together we weave,
In every breath, in all we believe.

For Valentine's is not confined,
To just one day, in space and time,
But lives within, a constant game,
Sharing love's eternal flame.
